Hi,all,i am using libvirt to manage my vm,in these days i am testing the libvirt snapshot ,but meet some problem: the snapshot was created from this command: snapshot-create-as win7 --disk-only --diskspec vda, snapshot=external --diskspec hda, snapshot=no but when i tried to revert from the snapshot which created from the above command ,i got error below: virsh # snapshot-revert win7 1338041515 --force error: unsupported configuration: revert to external disk snapshot not supported yet version: virsh # version Compiled against library: libvir 0.9.4 Using library: libvir 0.9.4 Using API: QEMU 0.9.4 Running hypervisor: QEMU 1.0.93

[libvirt-users] managedsave results in unexpected shutdown from inside Windows
by Nicolas Sebrecht 28 Jun '13

28 Jun '13

Hi, I'm facing a strange behaviour of windows 2008 guests. After a virsh managedsave and start, the windows guest open a "unexpected shutdown" window. The window looks like this one (randomly taken from the web): http://toastytech.com/guis/srv2k3login2.jpg This happens in all virtualized windows in a hypervisor. Has anyone else experienced such issue? Thanks, -- Nicolas Sebrecht

[libvirt-users] cgroup error starting domains
by Matteo Bernardini 21 Jun '13

21 Jun '13

Hi, I've got a small problem using libvirt-1.0.5.1 (with the latest patch in the v1.0.5-maint branch on git added). I'm using slackware64-14.0 but the situation is exactly the same described on a debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=707201 When trying to start a domain I got error: Failed to start domain debian-wheezy-xfce error: Unable to initialize /machine cgroup: Invalid argument with this in libvirtd.log virCgroupDetect:373 : Failed to detect mounts for /machine qemuInitCgroup:425 : Unable to initialize /machine cgroup: Invalid argument and the error goes away if I unmount /sys/fs/cgroup. Reverting to 1.0.4 fixes this, but this exposes another thing that I report even if I'm not sure it's an error: if I create a domain with 1.0.5.1 (I use the latest virt-manager to do this), in the xml of the domain there's a line that doesn't seem to have the close tag <controller type='pci' index='0' model='pci-root'/> If I revert to 1.0.4 the domain with this line in the xml doesn't even get listed between the available domains and I got this in libvirtd.log virDomainControllerDefParseXML:4838 : internal error Unknown controller type 'pci' deleting the interested line make it available again. Please let me know if you need further informations on the matters. Matteo

[libvirt-users] About the change of a VM's vcpu count in runtime?
by Dennis Chen 02 Jun '13

02 Jun '13

Hi, We know that there is a command "setvcpus" in virsh used to "change number of virtual CPUs", now we just have the need to change vcpu count dynamically for a running VM, so I tried this command (the vcpu count is 2 in the VM xml file), below is the result: virsh # setvcpus 3 --count 4 error: invalid argument: requested vcpus is greater than max allowable vcpus for the domain: 4 > 2 virsh # setvcpus 3 --count 1 error: Operation not supported: qemu didn't unplug the vCPUs properly So I tried another way: log into the running VM, and "echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online", after that I can find only one processor in the vm through '/proc/cpuinfo', but in virsh, the vcpuinfo still shows: virsh # vcpuinfo 3 VCPU: 0 CPU: 0 State: running CPU time: 13.5s CPU Affinity: yyyy VCPU: 1 CPU: 1 State: running CPU time: 6.9s CPU Affinity: yyyy So the question is: is there any method I can't find yet to change the vcpu count of a running vm dynamically? [libvirt-users] /dev/tty only on a new container
by Sebastien Douche 31 May '13

Hi folks :), I migrated the host from the Debian Squeeze to Ubuntu 12.10. Old containers work but I can't use the ssh command, /dev/tty is missing. On a new container, /dev/tty is here. The libvirt configuration is the same. Any ideas? Thanks. -- Sebastien Douche <sdouche(a)gmail.com> Twitter: @sdouche / G+: +sdouche

[libvirt-users] iSCSI-based Storage Pool and virsh attach-device problems/questions
by Ken Stanley 31 May '13

31 May '13

Hello all, I am attempting to use the 'virsh attach-device' command to add storage to a guest from a pre-defined iSCSI-based storage pool. My desire is to attach a volume from the storage pool and have the storage pool recognize that the volume is in use and either flag it as such, or remove it from the pool so that subsequent queries to the pool will only return available storage volumes. The end goal is to have an automated system use the libvirt API assign storage volumes to new and existing guests on demand. I guess my first question is: Is this possible? Does libvirt give any indication that a storage volume within a pool is available or already in use? I would prefer to avoid having to externally manage this sort of thing if I can. I am using Debian Wheezy for the Dom0 and iSCSI SAN (identical setup), along with libvirt 1.0.5-2 from the experimental branch. I have Xen 4.1.4-3+deb7u1 installed, along with its accompanying packages. All of this is currently running under VirtualBox, but that is only for my testing/development purposes. I am able to get the Dom0 to recognize the SAN, and add the storage pool. When I attempt to use 'virsh attach-device', I get the following error: "error: Failed to attach device from device.xml \ error: POST operation failed: xend_post: error from xen daemon: (xend.err 'Block device must have physical details specified')". I have tracked this specific error down to the Xen python blkif.py, located under /usr/lib/xen-4.1/lib/python/xen/xend/server/blkif.py for my installation. After reading through the source, I found that under the getDeviceDetails def there is a non-existent configuration called 'uname' that is undefined. Looking deeper into the code, under the getDeviceConfiguration def, I see that the code is trying to read from the backend configuration, and expecting to see a 'type' and 'params' to use for setting the aforementioned 'uname' value. This is where I hit the wall, so to speak. After reading through the XML documentation for libvirt (http://libvirt.org/formatdomain.html#elementsDisks) I see nothing that I can further add to my XML description that would make sense for adding a volume from a storage pool. For kicks and giggles, I've tried using the disk type 'carom', which gets me past the failing python condition, but then gives me the following error when trying to do anything – in this case, just a simple dumpxml on the domain – with the guest through virsh: "error: internal error domain information incomplete, vbd has no src". Subsequently, if I try to call 'detach-device', I get the same error, leaving me with no other alternative but to destroy/undefine, and recreate the domain using define/start. I am able to ssh into the guest after the call to 'attach-device', but no device is present nor registered (as seen with dmesg). If I reboot the guest libvirt reports that the guest is "idle", but I cannot console into it due to the error mentioned in the previous paragraph. I can, however, use 'xm console <guest>' and gain access that way. Any and all advice that you can give would be greatly appreciated. I will do everything that I can to assist as far as trying all suggestions and following directions. :) Storage Pool XML: <pool type="iscsi"> <name>virtimages</name> <source> <host name="hv02.kstanley.vm"/> <device path="iqn.2013-05.vm.kstanley.hv02:vdisks"/> </source> <target> <path>/dev/disk/by-path</path> </target> </pool> Device XML: <disk type="volume" device="disk"> <source pool="virtimages" volume="unit:0:0:1"/> <target dev="xvdb" bus="virtio"/> </disk> Regards, Ken Stanley

[libvirt-users] Enable bios useserial=yes from command line
by Knightmare 31 May '13

31 May '13

Hi Guys, I'm currently learning KVM and have set up an Ubuntu 12.04.2 VM running KVM. I am using the following command to provision a VM: virt-install --connect qemu:///system --ram "$ramsize" -n "$vmname" --boot network,hd,menu=on --os-variant="$variant" --disk path=/var/lib/libvirt/images/"$vmname".qcow2,device=disk,bus=virtio,format=qcow2 --mac= --cpu host --vcpus="$numcpus" --graphics none --noautoconsole --import But cannot seem to find a way to enable bios useserial=yes without issuing a virsh edit $vmname I've tried --extraargs= but that appears to be for kernel command lines, which is not what I want to achieve here. I'm looking for a way to enable serial BIOS from the point the VM is created. The current solution I am using is to do virsh destroy $vmname ; virsh edit $vm_name ; virsh start $vm_name which is not great, but gets the job done. My versions are as follows: Ubuntu 12.04.2 x86_64 kernel 3.2.0-39-generic libvirt 0.9.8-2ubuntu17.8 qemu-kvm 1.0+noroms-0ubuntu14.8 Thanks, Robert

[libvirt-users] Virsh with CPU features on XML file not working!
by Antonio Colín 30 May '13

30 May '13

Hello, Does anyone have masked their CPU flags with Libvirt?? It's because I have done so with Libvirt and Virsh compare / baseline. But when I boot the DomU I see the same flags as if I hadn't declare de <cpu> tag containing the features just as is described in: http://libvirt.org/formatdomain.html#elementsCPU I posted here my XML file definition: http://pastebin.com/ze5wvSZt I would be really grateful if someone shared your domain XML definition with me or tell me the syntax. I've been struggling for hours, just you know, following the documentation available but there is no functionality for me yet. Thank you a lot! Antonio Colín.

[libvirt-users] “Unable to connect to libvirt” (xen, xl toolstack, and virt-manager)
by Gizmo Chicken 30 May '13

30 May '13

I get “Unable to connect to libvirt” when using virt-manager in combination with the XL toolstack and Xen 4.2.1. (No problems when using virt-manager in combination with the XM toolstack.) More details of the situation can be found in a bug-report that I filed on launchpad. Please see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1180281 Judging from the information that I provided in the above referenced bug-report (some of which is copied below), does this appear to be an actual bug? Or have I failed to configure something properly? Thanks for any help with this! Best regards, GizmoChicken P.S. [libvirt-users] Trouble running LXC through libvirt
by Shashank Sahni 29 May '13

29 May '13

Hi everyone, I followed the instructions here to create ubuntu lxc containers. https://help.ubuntu.com/12.04/serverguide/lxc.html#lxc-admin I then copied the rootfs to /var/lib/libvirt/images/precise and booted it as an "operating system container" through virt-manager. Here are the incidents. - It immediately showed on console "init: unable to create /dev/kmsg" but after a while it booted. - I had modified the image to allow static password for user ubuntu and I logged in. But to my surprise I wasn't able to use sudo. The error was "sudo: setuid is not set" I've tried this image on lxc and it works like a charm. But there seems to be some issue with libvirt. Some help would be greatly appreciated. -- Shashank Sahni

[libvirt-users] Help needed regarding "virsh cpu-stats test_vm"
by Anusha Rayani 29 May '13

29 May '13

Hi, We are implementing feature called CPU separation in the platform. So, guest VMs will have dedicated cores allocated using cgroups (cgroups hierachy related VMs managed by libvirt). virsh cpu-stats command is not working in our platform : virsh # cpu-stats test_vm error: Failed to virDomainGetCPUStats() error: Requested operation is not valid: cgroup CPUACCT controller is not mounted It should show info like this. $ virsh cpu-stats test_vm CPU0: cpu_time 0.025812184 seconds vcpu_time 0.025812184 seconds CPU1: cpu_time 4.893484927 seconds vcpu_time 4.893484927 seconds Total: cpu_time 4.924620941 seconds user_time 1.060000000 seconds system_time 3.050000000 seconds We are suspecting some issue in virsh when it is trying to find to where that cgroups is mounted in a system (default in ubuntu is /sys/fs/cgroup/cpuset/libvirt/, but in our platform uses /dev/cgroup_xxx). Find /proc/cgroups and /proc/mounts log below: ================================== # cat /proc/cgroups #subsys_name hierarchy num_cgroups enabled cpuset 0 1 1 ns 0 1 1 cpu 1 3 1 cpuacct 0 1 1 memory 2 1 1 freezer 0 1 1 net_cls 0 1 1 blkio 0 1 1 # cat /proc/mounts cpu /dev/cgroup_cpu cgroup rw,relatime, cpu 0 0 memory /dev/cgroup_mem cgroup rw,relatime, memory 0 0 Can you please help us in this regard to enable this command in our platform, Thanks in advance !!! [libvirt-users] Help: Using Pre-created tap interfaces with Libvirt+Xen
by Raghu Nallamothu 25 May '13

25 May '13

Hi All., I am not sure if this is possible in xen via Libvirt, but what I am trying to do is, I want libvirt to launch a VM and attach a pre-created tap interface to that VM ( I do not want XEN to create one, as I am running a lot of custom scripts on my tap interface). I also dont want xen to attach this tap interface to a bridge. For example, lets say I have created a tap interface with name "tap123456" when libvirt launches my VM in xen, I want the VM to read its networking info from this tap interface. But I wasn't so successful in doing this when ever I am trying to do this, I am seeing the following error message "VmError: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working." and "error: POST operation failed: xend_post: error from xen daemon: (xend.err 'Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Cannot rename interface vif4.0. An interface with name tap12345 already exists.')". But I dont want xen to create another interface and rename it, rather want xen to use the existing one === output of lsmod === bash-4.1# lsmod | grep xen xen_acpi_processor 4465 0 xen_netback 25455 0 [permanent] xen_gntdev 9504 2 xen_evtchn 4899 3 xenfs 2943 1 xen_privcmd 4972 19 xenfs ==== end of output ==== My Configuration : Centos 6.2 with Xen 4.2.5 along with Libvirt Libvirt Configuration file, <domain type='xen'> <name>raghu_12345</name> <uuid>12113325-d948-4a1b-b673-888a16b90726</uuid> <memory>1048576</memory> <vcpu>1</vcpu> <os> <type>hvm</type> <loader>/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader</loader> <boot dev='hd'/> </os> <on_poweroff>destroy</on_poweroff> <on_reboot>restart</on_reboot> <on_crash>restart</on_crash> <features> <pae/> <acpi/> <apic/> </features> <devices> <emulator>/usr/lib/xen/bin/qemu-dm</emulator> <interface type="ethernet"> <mac address='00:25:90:3f:25:91'/> <target dev='tap123456'/> </interface> <disk type='file' device='disk'> <source file='~/tmp/lucid.img'/> <target dev='hda'/> </disk> <console type='pty'> <target port='0'/> </console> <graphics port='-1' type='vnc' autoport='yes' listen='0.0.0.0'/> </devices> </domain> I have a pre-created tap interface with name 'tap123456' with all the networking setup with dhcp and dns running. Hi, On a DELL r610 (Intel Xeon L5520) and a Windows guest I have an hardware error. The bug is well known[1][2] and seems fixed with the package 3.5.0-16-generic. But I use 3.5.0-30-generic. [libvirt-users] How to use xl (in place of xm) with libvirt 1.0.2 and Xen 4.2.1 in Ubuntu 13.04?
by Gizmo Chicken 21 May '13

21 May '13

QUESTION: What, if anything, can I do so that I can use xl (in place of xm) with libvirt 1.0.2 and Xen 4.2.1 in Ubuntu 13.04? BACKGROUND: I am testing a fully updated (as of March 27) installation of Ubuntu 13.04 that includes the following packages: libvirt - version 1.0.2-0ubuntu9 xen-hypervisor-4.2-amd64 - version 4.2.1-0ubuntu1 Upon setting TOOLSTACK=xm in /etc/default/xen (as well as making a few needed tweaks to /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp), libvirt and virt-manager worked great. Yippee! I guess that I should be happy that the xm toolstack still works with Xen 4.2.1 and quit while I'm ahead, but... According to libvirt's documentation: "libxl: Starting with Xen 4.2, the legacy XenD/xm toolstack is deprecated in favor of libxl, also commonly called libxenlight. libvirt supports this new Xen toolstack via the libxl driver. If XenD is enabled, the legacy xen driver consisting of the above mentioned channels will be used. If XenD is disabled, the libxl driver will be used." See http://libvirt.org/drvxen.html. In view of the above, I attempted to use xl in place xm by setting TOOLSTACK=xl in /etc/default/xen. And after doing so (both with and without, the above mentioned tweaks to /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp), I recieved the following error when attempting to start virt-manager: Unable to connect to libvirt. unable to connect to 'localhost:8000': Connection refused Verify that: - A Xen host kernel was booted - The Xen service has been started Libvirt URI is: xen:/// Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/connection.py", line 1027, in _open_thread self.vmm = self._try_open() File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/connection.py", line 1009, in _try_open flags) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/libvirt.py", line 102, in openAuth if ret is None:raise libvirtError('virConnectOpenAuth() failed') libvirtError: unable to connect to 'localhost:8000': Connection refused

[libvirt-users] libvirtd using 11GB
by Alex Leonhardt 20 May '13

20 May '13

Hi All, Am new to this list, and have asked in #ovirt / ovirt-users list and they pointed me to here ... I've seen libvirtd using ~11 GB of resident memory after the host has been running for about 60+ days with about 40 VMs running on it. The versions I'm currently running are : libvirt.x86_64 0.9.10-21.el6_3.7 libvirt-client.x86_64 0.9.10-21.el6_3.7 libvirt-lock-sanlock.x86_64 libvirt-python.x86_64 0.9.10-21.el6_3.7 I know I can just restart libvirtd and "all should be fine" (and hopefully I'll regain the 11GB of memory) - however, is there an updated version that maybe fixes a memory leak ?? Also i wanted to know whether we can set block IO tune for a VM using the above API. Is it same as the IO throttling provided by cgroup?

[libvirt-users] Pre-requisites to use Java bindings with QEMU
by Lior Vernia 15 May '13

15 May '13

Hello everyone, I've been reading through the articles on the website trying to understand what's needed to use the libvirt Java bindings with a QEMU hypervisor, but still have some uncertainties/questions: 1. It is my understanding that libvirtd has to be running on the machine hosting the hypervisor. Correct? 2. For libvirtd to communicate with QEMU, QEMU has to be installed on the machine hosting the hypervisor. Correct? I guess what I'm really asking is whether the libvirt QEMU "driver" includes the QEMU source code, or rather communicates with pre-installed executables. 3. Assuming the answer to the two former questions is "yes", is there a way to bypass libvirtd if the machine hosting the hypervisor is the same as the one running the Java code? I'm asking because running libvirtd would require privileged permissions, whereas QEMU itself can run with normal user permissions. Is that a price I have to pay for the uniform interface that libvirt presents? Yours, Lior.

[libvirt-users] Designing libvirt client
by arvind viswanathan 15 May '13

15 May '13

Hi, I have a VMM application using a homegrown client for communicating with hypervisor. I am planning to migrate to libvirt because of the blocking nature of the calls. After going over the architecture, I would like to have a few doubts clarified 1) Should my application be necessarily multi-threaded in order to make use of the non-blocking calls in libvirt. [Are overlapping methods mainly used by multithreaded clients]. 2) I was wondering if there was any way to provide a callback along with the methods to achieve non-blocking.[My application has event library so it can receive events] 3) Is the libvirt RPC client multi-threaded. [i.e., does it internally use multiple threads to dispatch requests to server and return response to the application] I can provide more information, if its not helpful. Thanks Arvind

[libvirt-users] Unable to start LXC on Gentoo w/ libvirt 1.0.4 or 1.0.5. 1.0.3 works
by Dennis Jenkins 14 May '13

14 May '13

Hello. I use libvirtd on my Gentoo development system to manage both QEMU and LXC. When 1.0.3 came out, I updated to it from 1.0.3-r2, but 1.0.4 failed to start my LXC containers. I did not research the issue at the time, so I revert to 1.0.3-r2. Today I updated to 1.0.5 and my LXC containers still fail to start. I have not changed my domain XML at all. I am looking for suggestions on what to try to resolve the problem. Maybe I'm missing a package or have something mus-configured for libvirt-1.0.5. btw, A month ago I updates to the most recent "udev" (udev-200). This required me to rename all of my network interfaces. My QEMU and LXC containers continued to work. All of my VMs use bridged networking on "br0" or "br1". Those virtual interfaces are not bridged to any physical NIC. They exist only inside my host's kernel. I have extensive iptables rules to filter traffic between my network segments (physical + virtual). TL;DR: this was burried in a log file: " error : lxcContainerMountFSDevPTS:808 : Failed to mount /.oldroot//var/run/libvirt/lxc/dwj-lnx-dev.devpts on /dev/pts: No such file or directory". But that directory DOES exist in the container: ostara ~ # ls -ld /vm/lxc/dwj-lnx-dev/dev/pts/ drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Apr 27 2011 /vm/lxc/dwj-lnx-dev/dev/pts/ If I revert to libvirt-1.0.3-r2, I can boot my LXC containers again. But if possible, I'd like to keep my system current. [libvirt-users] latency between LIFECYCLE event and notification generation
by nishant burte 10 May '13

10 May '13

Hi, I have registered for LIFECYCLE events of libvirt. But I don't know, 1. about the the latency of these events happening and notification generation. e.g. suppose a VM goes down. How much time it takes to realize that the particular VM has gone down(going to say, DEFINED state) and then notification is generated? 2. Second question is, can someone please explain what are the sequence of steps happen between a VM going down and the notification is generated? Coul you please answer both the queries? [libvirt-users] migration job: unexpectedly failed
by Daniele 08 May '13

08 May '13

Hi, I am trying to run some test and analysis while performing a wide live migration of a VM between two different network location. I use libvirt and qemu-kvm as hypervisor on Linux. The live wide migration from A to B completes successfully, instead I can't achieve the reverse path, from B to A (and that is right what I am interested to). To perform the migration I run this command in virsh: *"migrate --live --verbose uno qemu+ssh://root@ip.address/system"* * * Even if dramatically slow (i guess due to some network bottleneck) the migration starts correctly, but it gets stuck at 96% and after some minute it returns this error: *"Migration: [ 96 %]error: operation failed: migration job: unexpectedly failed" *without further details. The libvirtd.log file in the source host says: *2013-05-07 11:01:18.739+0000: 9538: error : qemuMigrationUpdateJobStatus:945 : operation failed: migration job: unexpectedly failed* * * Apparently i can't find any clue of what is causing the error, do you have any idea/solution? * * (I'm not sure if this is the appropriate mailing-list, maybe it was better the devs list?) Thanks for your help Daniele

[libvirt-users] Java client error on Windows 7 64 bit for Libvirt on KVM
by george john 07 May '13

07 May '13

Hi, I need some help in building a Java client on Windows 7 64 bit plaftorm to manage a KVM using the libvirt APIs. Using the instructions at http://libvirt.org/java.html, i was able to build libvirt.jar. My understanding is that libvirt.jar uses JNA to call libvirt's native windows library. I tried using the libvirt dlls in the experimental Windows installation package mentioned in http://libvirt.org/windows.html at http://libvirt.org/sources/win32_experimental/Libvirt-0.8.8-0.exe but whenever I try to connect to my remote API, I get the below Java exception : Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: %1 is not a valid Win32 application. at com.sun.jna.Native.open(Native Method) at com.sun.jna.Native.open(Native.java:1718) at com.sun.jna.NativeLibrary.loadLibrary(NativeLibrary.java:210) at com.sun.jna.NativeLibrary.getInstance(NativeLibrary.java:322) at com.sun.jna.Library$Handler.<init>(Library.java:142) at com.sun.jna.Native.loadLibrary(Native.java:387) at com.sun.jna.Native.loadLibrary(Native.java:366) at org.libvirt.jna.Libvirt.<clinit>(Unknown Source) at org.libvirt.Library.<clinit>(Unknown Source) at org.libvirt.Connect.<init>(Unknown Source) at Main.main(Main.java:8) But when I try the same client code on a Windows XP 32 bit machine (with 32 bit JVM), I don't see this problem and the connection succeeds. So it looks like the problem is that I am not using 64 bit windows libvirt dlls. Is my assumption correct? Is there a Windows installer with 64 bit Libvirt dlls ? Or are the 64 bit version of DLLs published somewhere? I tried using Matthias Bolte's msys_setup script (I tried in 2 machines) and in both machines, I get the below error when I try to run compile_libxml2.sh as per instructions https://github.com/photron/msys_setup/blob/master/readme_libvirt.txt Last few lines before the error is : >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> make[5]: Leaving directory `/src/libxml2/libxml2-2.9.0-0/python' make[4]: Leaving directory `/src/libxml2/libxml2-2.9.0-0/python' Making install in tests make[4]: Entering directory `/src/libxml2/libxml2-2.9.0-0/python/tests' make[5]: Entering directory `/src/libxml2/libxml2-2.9.0-0/python/tests' make[5]: Nothing to be done for `install-exec-am'. test -z "/share/doc/libxml2-python-2.9.0/examples" || /bin/mkdir -p "/share/doc/ libxml2-python-2.9.0/examples" /bin/install -c -m 644 build.py attribs.py tst.py tstxpath.py xpathext.py push. py pushSAX.py pushSAXhtml.py error.py serialize.py validate.py tstURI.py cutnpas te.py xpathret.py xpath.py outbuf.py inbuf.py resolver.py regexp.py reader.py re ader2.py reader3.py reader4.py reader5.py reader6.py reader7.py reader8.py reade rnext.py walker.py nsdel.py ctxterror.py readererr.py relaxng.py schema.py threa d2.py sync.py tstLastError.py indexes.py dtdvalid.py tstmem.py '/share/doc/libxm l2-python-2.9.0/examples' /bin/install -c -m 644 validDTD.py validSchemas.py validRNG.py compareNodes.py xpathns.py xpathleak.py tst.xml valid.xml invalid.xml test.dtd '/share/doc/libxm l2-python-2.9.0/examples' make[5]: Leaving directory `/src/libxml2/libxml2-2.9.0-0/python/tests' make[4]: Leaving directory `/src/libxml2/libxml2-2.9.0-0/python/tests' make[3]: Leaving directory `/src/libxml2/libxml2-2.9.0-0/python' make[2]: Leaving directory `/src/libxml2/libxml2-2.9.0-0/python' make[1]: Leaving directory `/src/libxml2/libxml2-2.9.0-0' + cp /python/Lib/site-packages/libxml2mod.dll /python/DLLs/libxml2mod.pyd cp: cannot stat `/python/Lib/site-packages/libxml2mod.dll': No such file or dire ctory >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Do you know how this error could be resolved? [libvirt-users] libvirt API reference disappeared from website
by Ulrich Hochholdinger 07 May '13

07 May '13

Hi, I think the API Reference for libvirt disappeared from libvirt.org: browsing to http://libvirt.org/html/libvirt-libvirt.html delivers no content. The content is still available via google cache http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:libvirt.org/html/libvi… So, is this removed on purpose? Or is this some bluff from my browser (but I checked this from different sites with different browsers ;-/ )? [libvirt-users] Location of 64 bit libvirt dlls (Windows)?
by george john 06 May '13

06 May '13

I have written a Java client (64 bit JVM) that uses libvirt APIs on a remote KVM for KVM management. Since the JVM is 64 bit, the client needs 64 bit libvirt dlls and I could not find them (I found 32 bit libvirt dlls on http://libvirt.org/windows.html) Could someone point to where I could find 64 bit libvirt dlls?
