Since this was raised yesterday about the purity of the libvirt API w.r.t. Xen specifics, we don't actually use the virDeviceMode nor have any possible use for them at the API level since basically this kind of informations is always rovided as part of an XML and never as an int/enum. [Libvir] Initial OpenVZ Support Patches

Hi, Here are the OpenVZ support patches. The .c and .h files go into src/ This is being released in the spirit of releasing early. Only the basic stuff is done and development is continuing. What works: * Getting number of active/inactive domains * Listing active/inactive domains * Creating a domain that has been already defined (using OpenVZ tools) * Shutdown, start, reboot * configure.in has a new switch --with-openvz(on by default), use --without-openvz to switch it off. After I get feedback, I will work on it and add other features later on. There is no need for any OpenVZ tools code. Just the OpenVZ kernel and tools need to be installed. This code depends on the OpenVZ tool binaries. Differences from QEMU/Xen: * ID and name are same * Not possible to create temporary domains and do away with them. Creating a domain will involve untarring a template cache and bringing it up. * No readonly access. OpenVZ tools need root access. There are other design issues to be discussed. These issues spring from the fact that OpenVZ is very different from Xen/QEMU. I will discuss these issues in further mails. [Libvir] PATCH: Specify BIOS clock offset for HVM

The attached patch introduces a new XML element for specifying information about the guest (BIOS) clock. For Xen HVM, and QEMU / KVM guests this is used to specifyc whether the guest clock should be in UTC, or localtime. The latter is useful for Windows which likes the BIOS to be localtime, while the former is useful for all other operating systems. The former is of course the default - so no change in existing semantics. The <clock> element currently takes a single attribute 'offset'. This is either 'utc' or 'localtime', but if we port to VMWare, it will also allow an arbitrary numeric offset as well as these special constants. <clock offset='utc'/> Or <clock offset='localtime'/> It may later also be desirable to add a 'sync=[yes|no]' attribute to specify whether the HV tries to keep the clock in sync with the HV while it is running. VMWare has this concept, and so does Xen paravirt - though Xen paravirt sets it via /proc/sys/xen/independant_wallclock inside the guest and AFAICT doesn't (yet) expose it to the guest config in Dom0. Anyway, my patch implements use of utc/localtime offsets for Xen, and QEMU drivers. I've tested to verify that -localtime gets passed to the QEMU process as appropriate. Hi Even if specified MAC address is invalid, network interface is attached to the guest. And attached network interface cannot communicate. This patch checks the format of MAC address, and virsh become error when it is invalid. [Libvir] Small remote doc update and little checking script

Hi, I updated slightly the remote page (mostly adding an index at the top and updating a couple of things which changed prior to 0.3.0 release) http://libvirt.org/remote.html and added a small script to check the client/server setup on a given host, trying to pinpoint the problems I faced myself when trying to set the TLS certificates. This may help others, checked in docs/pki_check.sh and hence available at http://libvirt.org/pki_check.sh There is certainly many more check which can be done (like expiration date checking, or making sure certs and keys are properly matched), but it's a first step, an maybe it can help others testing the remote support. The QEMU driver is not passing in a virConnectPtr object for many of the places it calls virRaiseError. This means the errors aren't getting fed back to the client correctly - particularly when starting a VM / network. [Libvir] PATCH: Fix crash if client acl check fails

There was a couple of places where if the ACL check for an incoming client failed, it would go on and register the client's FD in the event loop anyway. The trouble is, after the ACL failed, the client had been forcably disconnected & the client struct free'd, so the daemon died in the event loop a short time later. [Libvir] PATCH: More useful error messages with missing certs

On the server end if you try to start the server with TLS enabled and you don't have the certs setup, you get a cryptic: gnutls_certificate_set_x509_trust_file: Error while reading file. Rather useless the gnutls error message not telling you what file was missing. Similarly with virsh: # ~/usr/bin/virsh --connect qemu://localhost/system list libvir: Remote error : Error while reading file. Since GNU TLS doesn't even tell you the actual problem - was it wrong permissions, or missing file altogether, I decided its better to do an explicit 'stat' check ahead of time. Hi all, now that 0.3.0 is out, it's probably time to build the next set of features we aims at developping in the next months, the list I have currently is short, but still significant: - migration API: now that we have remote support it should be possible to build an API for migration of domains between 2 connections. Could be as simple as int virDomainMigrate(virDomainPtr domain, virConnectPtr to, int flags); sounds like a fun and very useful part. - USB support: we discussed that already, but the initial patch did not match the XML format suggestions we should try to resurrect this http://libvirt.org/search.php?query=USB&scope=LISTS http://www.redhat.com/archives/libvir-list/2007-March/thread.html#00118 - Support for Xen-API new entry points at least for localhost access since we have remote support now - platform support: resolve the PPC64 issues - more engine support: OpenVZ is on the work, is there interest in lguest, UML or for example Solaris zones ? Now is a good time to suggest new potential directions, and I certainly forgot some obvious points, so what did I missed ? Hello everyone, we currently try to use/port libvirt to run on xenppc. While doing that I found a endianess issue. First a simple example: Sample code: #include <stdio.h> union u { int i; long long l; }; int main(void) { union u u; u.l = 0; u.i = ~0; printf("%016llx\n", u.l); return 0; } Little-endian output: 00000000ffffffff Big-endian output: ffffffff00000000 Now look at the padding in e.g. xen_v2s3_getdomaininfolistop: it doesn't work on big-endian systems. This problem is why the GUEST_HANDLE infrastructure is present in Xen. To work on big-endian systems, libvirt will need this or a similar mechanism. --- Current Questions --- We could now add several ugly ifdefs to libvirt code to differentiate powerpc from the others and solve the issue described above, but I think thats not a good solution. The GUEST_HANDLE mechanism would provide an architecture abstraction and is already implemented/working in libxc. The question is, shouldn't libvirt actually use the GUEST_HANDLE mechanism like libxc does (at least for the _v2d5_ structures) or are there big arguments against it? I would create a patch to add the GUEST_HANDLE stuff in libvirt if there is nothing against it, but I will need some help to test it on x86/x86_64/ia64 since I have no such machines here. If there is a major reason against the GUEST_HANDLE code, are there other suggestions/preferences how to solve this? Below is the technical background in a more verbose way for anyone interested --- Code Affected --- More or less everything in libvirt that would use GUEST_HANDLE in libxc: I saw the effect on a bad pointer passed down by the structure I use for my example below, but in the end it may affect all the stuff that uses the *GUEST_HANDLE* stuff in libxc which are e.g. uchar,ulong,... here an example: libxc: uint64_aligned_t max_pages; // <- arch dependent mapping of uint64_aligned_t libvirt: #define ALIGN_64 __attribute__((aligned(8))) uint64_t max_pages ALIGN_64; // <- this align is fix on all architectures --- The Issue in libvirt in one example --- XEN_GUEST_HANDLE usage in libxc: - XEN_GUEST_HANDLE is defined arch specific giving the arch the posibility to pad/align as needed. See xen/tools/libxc/xen/arch-powerpc.h for example. - xen/tools use set_xen_guest_handle and get_xen_guest_handle to set/access these handles and let the arch the posibility to handle any specific needs. XEN_GUEST_HANDLE usage in libvirt: - In my example where XEN_GUEST_HANDLE is in libxc libvirt currently uses a union based structure like the following: struct xen_v2s3_getdomaininfolistop { domid_t first_domain; uint32_t max_domains; union { struct xen_v2d5_getdomaininfo *v; uint64_t pad ALIGN_64; } buffer; uint32_t num_domains; }; typedef struct xen_v2s3_getdomaininfolistop xen_v2s3_getdomaininfolistop; The union used here to add the 64 bit padding does not work on big endian powerpc because reading this two half words in 64bit receiver gives 0xFFFFFFFF00000000 (The two half words are stored in the wrong order) while on ia64 it is read as the the valid 0x00000000FFFFFFFF. [Libvir] PATCH: Force close of virConnectPtr if client quits abnormally

If a remote client quits abnormally (or if the server forcably drops a client for misbehaviing), it is possible that the virConnectPtr object is not closed. This leads to a build up of active connections in the server. The attached patch simply calls virConnectClose when killing off a client connection if there is a non-NULL client->conn object. [Libvir] Double call to domainSuspend callback

Hi, I have implemented the 'domainSuspend' callback in libvirt for my hypervisor (see test.c or qemu_internal.c for reference) When using the Red Hat Virtual Manager (after connecting to my hypervisor), clicking on a domain row, then clicking the 'open' button at the botton right of the window, I get a new window where I can click the 'Pause' button for instance. When I do this, the 'domainSuspend' callback is entered twice as shown in my debug code below. Why is this happening? Is it a bug? So somewhere in the RHVM python code, this call is getting activated twice. Hello list I read on the list that other people tried to install libvirt on Debian Etch. I finally succeeded so I'll post a little Howto. Maybe someone with a better understanding of automake and C stuff knows a nicer way but the ugly folder with the links to the different header files. The start point is a Debian Etch with a running Xen (in my case it's the xen-hypervisor-3.0.3-1-i386-pae package). If you're not using the PAE version of the xen-hypervisor change the "apt-get source" line accordingly. First you will need to install a bunch of development packages apt-get install build-essential libxml2-dev libncurses5-dev apt-get isntall libreadline5-dev python-dev Go to your home directory and install the Xen hypervisor sources cd apt-get source xen-hypervisor-3.0.3-1-i386-pae Create a folder with a bunch of symbolic links. [Libvir] XML escaping patch

This is related to bug #206653 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=206653 basically we are very optimistic when generating the XML files, and sometimes this can break. The most common case is if some string inherited from the user input or some other config file embeds one of > < or & , another one would be if the strings are containing character outside of ACSII range and not encoded in UTF-8. We can at least cope with the easy case of escaping the 3 characters. This patch adds a simple buffer printing routing working with a simple string argument, and use it for the 2 cases where I think it's most likely to be needed i.e. cmdline and bootloader_args. There is a number of places where paths are used and the user might use weird character names, but since those cases can't be handled properly (you can't change that path or try to convert encoding on the fly since we can't guess reliably which one is used) I didn't tried to change those. This makes for a relatively simple patch which should IMHO cover most case where we may break while we really should not. [Libvir] Some doubts for OpenVZ

Hi, I have some basic doubts. 1. The OpenVZ system has one config file per VM which contains all the VM's parameters. So, during libvirt start-up, these files can be read, or openvz utils can be popened() to get information regarding these VMs. Is there a necessity to have per-vm config files in libvirt for the OpenVZ VMs? I understand UUIDs are used to identify each of the running VMs. Where will these values persist? Can I do away with UUIDs for OpenVZ and avoid the libvirt specific config file? 2. In OpenVZ, there is just a VPS ID/Name. There is no temporary reference like 'id'. For example QEMU is using the process PID. There is no such notion for OpenVZ. Hi, The virsh vcpupin command does not work when it uses Xend(xend_internal.c). HV(xen_internal.c) works fine. I'm testing on Xen3.1.0(hypervisor_version=2, dom_interface_version=5, xendConfigVersion=4), and using current libvirt(ChangeLog revision 1.546). This patch: (1) Fixes inactive domains over remote. The real cause of this error turned out to be that after configCache hash is created, the last refresh date wasn't reset, so a subsequent call to xenXMConfigCacheRefresh might not actually repopulate the cache. This only affects the remote case, because only in the remote case do we have a long running process (libvirtd) which closes and reopens xm_internal.c, so this code had never been exercised before. It also explains why the bug was annoyingly intermittent. If you wait >= 10 seconds during testing, then the cache does get refilled, so the bug is hidden. (2) Adds error messages to xenXMConfigCacheRefresh. (3) As Daniel Veillard suggested, change the obscure !nconnections-- condition to two explicit statements. (4) In xenXMOpen, change the condition from nconnections == 0 to configCache == NULL, to remove the implicit dependency between the two variables. (1) Removes virGetDomainByID. This function was neither used nor exported. (2) virGetDomain sets a virterror connection error whenever anything bad happens (realistically malloc failure is the only thing that can go wrong). Therefore callers do not need to set virterror if the function returns NULL. The patch fixes these callers. (3) Same as (2), for virGetNetwork. I propose that we should change the Python bindings so that when the virterror errors VIR_ERR_NO_DOMAIN and VIR_ERR_NO_NETWORK occur in the lookup* functions only, should cause KeyError to be raised. According to: http://docs.python.org/lib/module-exceptions.html "[KeyError is] raised when a mapping (dictionary) key is not found in the set of existing keys." I've already changed the OCaml bindings so that these errors get converted into Not_found exception, which is the "natural" exception for when something is looked up and not found. [Libvir] PATCH: Fix remote driver to handle network API for local non-QEMU

The remote_internal.c code is basically a no-op in its remoteNetworkOpen method. This means the remote driver will only handle the networking APIs, if it is also handling the main domain APIs. This works fine if connecting to a remote URI, or if using QEMU URIs, but it does not work if using the test or Xen drivers. To make this work the remoteNetworkOpen method needs to open a connection to the remote daemon IIF the remoteOpen method did not already open one. So the attached patch adds the neccessary logic in remoteNetworkOpen. It also adds code to remoteNetworkClose to make it shutdown& free the connection IIF it was opened by the remoteNetworkOpen method. This is what the extra 'networkOnly' field in the 'struct private_data' is used to check. Second, all of the implementations of virNetwork* APIs in the remote_internal.c driver must use the 'struct private_data *' from networkPrivateData field in virConnectPtr, not the 'privateData' field. This is because the 'privateData' field is probably storing data related to the Xen or Test drivers. Third, this also fixes the qemu_driver.c which incorrectly used the privateData field insteadof the networkPrivateData field for 2 of the networking APIs, and finally makes sure the qemu_driver.c also acccepts the use of qemu:///session APIs for root user. The documentation of libvirt doesn't indicate which functions are for Xen or QEMU or both. The only way to know that, is by searching in libvirt sources. It would be interesting for libvirt users to add in the documentation, for each function, a mention such as "QEMU only", "Xen(TM) only", "QEMU and Xen(TM)", etc.. Regards. virt-install has some code which waits for a domain to appear just after it has been created. It looks like the loop attached to the end of this email, and is functional but has two problems. Problem (1) is that self.conn.lookupByName doesn't distinguish between a "Not found" domain and an actual error. For example there is no way to tell the difference between being unable to contact xend (an actual error), and being able to contact xend, but xend not being able to find the domain (not found). [...] The first exception is a Not found condition (not an error) whereas the second is an error. Problem (2) is that virterror is over anxious to print error messages to stderr, even if the caller can handle them and even if (as in the Not found case) they don't indicate errors. In practical terms this means that the virt-install loop attached below may print out 1 or 2 error messages even when it is functioning normally. You'll see an error like this appearing [sic]: libvir: Xen Daemon error : GET operation failed: Since it's difficult to change the LookupBy* functions without changing the ABI, I suspect that the best thing to do is going to be to add a new call with better semantics. Therefore I suggest: virDomainPtr * virDomainLookup (virConnectPtr conn, int flags, int id, char *str, int *error); where flags is one of: VIR_LOOKUP_BY_ID, VIR_LOOKUP_BY_NAME, VIR_LOOKUP_BY_UUID or VIR_LOOKUP_BY_UUID_STRING The return values are: ret = domain, *error = 0 => found it ret = NULL, *error = 0 => not found ret = NULL, *error = 1 => error (check virterror) Addition 1: There would be a similar function virNetworkLookup, but without needing the 'id' parameter because networks don't have IDs. Addition 2: Change the driver internals so that they don't call virterror in the not found case. (This requires quite a bit of rejigging in xend_internal, but is not too hard). Addition 3: Language bindings could be modified to detect this function and if present change their existing LookupBy* functions to use the new interface. Thoughts? The work to refactor the QEMU driver to use the regular libvirt driver API is now complete. The next 20 (!) patches provide fairly fine-grained steps refactoring the code. Aside from that which adds an event loop, and the very last one, they should all be pretty much straightforward refactoring with no functional change. With this patch series fully applied there is now only a single daemon which can serve both remote & QEMU drivers in one go, with no deadlock issues. I haven't quite got to my goal of removing _GNU_SOURCE (yet), but this patch along the way creates a lib/ subdirectory and moves the common buffer code (from qemud/buf.[ch] and in src/xml.[ch]) there. There are many, many places which call the buffer functions without checking the return value. I have manually verified / fixed up the calls which do bother to check return values, but not added any more checks where they don't. In the current version of libvirt CVS, when using remote connections, remote's private data is not freed by remote_internal.c. However it turns out that it _is_ freed by qemuNetworkClose. Obviously some confusion there, but this patch fixes that. (Fixing that is a dependency of this patch, which is why the two are done together in one patch). I've added "virsh hostname" and "virsh uri" commands: $ src/virsh -c test:///default uri test:///default $ src/virsh -c test:///default hostname localhost.localdomain (Yeah, I haven't set the hostname on this machine ...) I've updated the Xen, test and remote drivers to support the calls. However I didn't update qemu because of Dan's big changes to qemu. Once we have decided whether to put in Dan's changes, I'll go back and implement this for qemu. (I'm actually not sure I would need to implement them, if remote supports the calls already). I haven't updated the Python bindings, but will do so next. I decided not to implement the proposed virConnectGetTransport call because I think it needs more thought. It would obviously be useful to find out whether the current connection is local or remote, encrypted or unencrypted, authenticated or unauthenticated, because all of these things could be usefully communicated back to the user by icons in virt-manager. Simply returning the transport name doesn't really do this. The user might also want to find out _how_ the session is encrypted (what TLS parameters are in use), and again a simple string can't do that. It's be a pain in the neck for callers otherwise. * I haven't changed the Python bindings, because I'm not confident enough that I can do that correctly and keep it backwards compatible for all callers (and anyway what would happen if newer Python bindings were used together with an older libvirt?). However I did add a comment to the generator noting that this could be changed in future. * I tested this with the OCaml bindings with no apparent ill-effects. [I haven't implemented any of these yet, but if people think they're a good idea, or at least not an actively bad idea, then I'll post a patch.] virDomainGetConnection virNetworkGetConnection Purpose: Given a virDomainPtr or virNetworkPtr, obtain the virConnectPtr. Reason: All the language bindings to libvirt need to keep the virConnectPtr separately alongside the virDomain/NetworkPtr, in the main so that they can query if an error has happened from inside some deep call. This is wasteful since the connection pointer is already included in the virDomain or virNetwork structure, so we should just provide a call to get it. virConnectGetHostname virConnectGetTransport virConnectGetURI Purpose: Get the remote hostname, remote transport (tls, ssh, etc.), and URI. Reason: In virt-manager it would be nice to display the remote hostname. However doing this at the moment requires parsing the connection URI, which is duplicated code and also significantly complicated. Instead, allow the remote driver to just give us this information, and in non-remote cases default to something sensible. The case for the other two calls is weaker, but it might still be useful to know something about the security of the actual transport selected, and also to not have to keep the URI around with the connection (we might also canonicalise the transport for the user). virConnectPing Purpose: "Ping" the hypervisor to see if its up. Reason: Since we now support remote connections, there is a much more signficant chance that we will lose contact with the hypervisor, for example if the host goes down. This will do some very minimal operation to cheaply test whether the hypervisor can be contacted. Of course we could do something like 'virConnectNumOfDomains', but it's not clear to me that this operation would always be cheap (eg. if we had to implement it through xend). It seems a bit pathological to check if maxNames <= 0 and throw an error if it is 0. In particular if you don't have any defined domains or networks (both fairly common scenarios) then this causes an error when you just pass the result of NumOfNetworks straight into ListNetworks. Backend drivers & QEMU seem to have no problem with maxNames being zero, so let's allow it. The "no support for hypervisor" error is both very common and pretty annoying because it gives you nowhere to go to find out what you did wrong. $ virsh -c xen://localhost/ libvir: Xen Daemon error : no support for hypervisor virsh: error: failed to connect to the hypervisor (The actual problem is that my URI is wrong, which is a separate bug in the Xen driver. But the error message gives me no particular indication of what is wrong or how to correct the situation). I think there are several possible solutions to this - discuss, or suggest your own. (1) Document the URI formats fully. -- This is a feature which has been requested a few times and I will do it anyway if Daniel Veillard will do the magic to set up a "http://libvirt.org/uri.html" page. (2) Add a method to query available drivers and URI syntax. -- Something along the lines of char *virQueryDrivers (void); Note that it doesn't need an open connection. -- The remote case would have to be handled specially because you want to find out what's available locally and what's available remotely, and in the remote case you do need some sort of a connection. (3) Split VIR_ERR_NO_SUPPORT into two categories. Currently this category mixes up cases where we fail to open a connection, and cases where there is no driver support for a particular operation (even with an open connection). In the first case, go through all the places which return this error and add proper diagnostic information to the error messages. -- Again, I am prepared to do this if people think it's a good idea. (4) Add diagnostics to higher layers such as virsh and virt-manager. -- I would be less happy with this because it ends up repeating code, and the diagnostics could get out of date w.r.t. what libvirt can do. We get away with this for Xen and QEMU because they do most things based off name or UUID. The test driver however wants the ID number. This one may be a little contentious... This patch does a couple of things... It won't let you set memory if the value is greater that maxmem. It also will lower memory if max memory is set to less than memory. I think it's a good argument that this checking should be in the hypervisor control daemon. IMO, it should be both here and in the daemon. I have no idea why the patch diff is so big, Below is the diff after it is applied. A little easier to read. This is a little bigger of a patch. It has a couple of things in it. First, in xen_internal.c and xs_internal.c have general dom0 support for Solaris. Again, using #ifdef/ifndef __linux__ to separate the logic. In xml.c and xend_internal.c, the code which requires kernel to be defined if ifdef __linux__'d. For our setup, If bootloader, kernel, and ramdisk aren't defined, pygrub will got looking for the right bits. There also code which puts in the the vncpasswd in xend_internal.c. At the Red Hat virtualization team meeting last week we spent some time talking about the problem of remote storage management, which is a requirement for at the very least creating remote guests. Remote storage management also delivers a lot of benefits for managing guest storage, provisioning, and a host of other issues. Note that we don't (I think) believe that storage management should be part of libvirt. However we might want to be able to grab storage information with libvirt when creating a guest, for example. Here's the tentative requirements we came up with, along with several questions that came up. I applied the easy ones: * src/internal.h, src/virsh.c: Replace _N with N_ so that Solaris builds work (Mark Johnson). * src/virsh.c: Add a couple of missing error messages (Mark Johnson). * python/types.c: Fix NULL pointer deref on DEBUG build (Mark Johnson). * src/virsh.c: Spelling fix (Mark Johnson). Hi all, This is the first of 10 or 11 patches I'll be submitting which gets libvirt compiling/working on a Solaris dom0. Also some minor generic bug fixing.. Sorry it took me so long from the Xen Summit.. Starting with a very simple one. :-) As I test them on the cvs tree on Fedora, I'll submit them.. So they'll trickle in over the next couple of days. A couple of them will probably require some discussion and changes. I'm applying the patches with the following # patch -t -s -p1 -i ../patches/spelling on todays CVS gate and tested on a fedora 7 dom0 (LD_PRELOAD=src/.libs/libvirt.so src/.libs/virsh) Thanks, Mark

[Libvir] no vfb for paravirt guest on RHEL 5 and strange args

Hi all, I'm creating a fairy simple paravirt machine under RHEL 5 (Xen 3.0.3, pygrub 0.6). A machine gets created but I see two problems: 1. no graphics console gets enabled (so RedHat VMM does not open it) so I cannot connect to it with vncviewer (am I naive to use vfb fpr a paravirt domU? - libvirt uses it, right?); 2. when I check what config has been used to create the domain (in /var/log/xen/xend.log) I see arguments ("args" or "extra") picked up from a virtual machine created a while age, my present "extra" parameter is ignored. I did regenerate xenstored/tdb and rebooted, still those args appear, drives my nuts :-). I'm actually after the graphics console, but I think both problems are related. Could anybody advise why I get no proper vfb setup (I'd expect a vnc-port vaue appearing in the xen store when it setup properly) and why I get those old args? The code for parsing xm config files & generating XML forgot to add in the <source bridge='xenbr0'> elements if an explicit bridge is requested. The reverse direction was already implemeneted. [Libvir] [PATCH] add bootloader_args to libvirt xml to support bootloaders (like pypxeboot for example) that require arguments

This patch extends libvirt's XML to include a paramater Xen already supports in sexpr, "bootloader_args." The bootloader_args parameter lets you pass arguments -- "mac=aa:12:34:56:78:90" for example -- to a bootloader program that xend invokes when it starts a guest. One such program, pypxeboot, uses the mac= argument to communicate with a dhcp server and retrieve the pxeboot kernel and initrd for a paravirt guest. The patch includes new tests for the bootloader_args XML and sexpr, which pass. Note that for the head of current libvirt, the virsh tests do not pass and virsh will not connect to the xen hypervisor. I don't know if this is my own build environment or some other issue. However the failure is the same with or without this patch, so I am submitting it anyway.
