Hi,
Is it possible to copy the UUID defined in the XML domain file into the
image file?
For example, the UUID defined in ubuntu.xml can appear, say, under /proc/
directory of the ubuntu virtual machine?

It should already be exposed in the BIOS's DMI data.
Try running dmidecode inside the guest.
