Apparently the answer to this is 'no'. However, it seems as though I might be able to ask the host's libvirtd to do it -- if the guest can find out who its host is. I see (with some help from IRC) that the VM's libvirtd UUID appears in the output of dmidecode, but I see no way to relate that to a particular host IPA (IP Address) or FQDN for the host.
