[libvirt-users] update qemu-kvm with running guests?

Good Afternoon, I was curious to know what happens to running guests when the qemu-kvm rpm is update via yum. I assume that the current qemu processes would be running the old binary, but the new processes would be started using the new binary. Please let me know if this assumption is correct.
