Hi all, Two of these patches are getting dhclient and netconfig to work properly in virt-sandboxes running on openSUSE. af_packet module is required to get dhclient to run and /dev/fd is needed to get openSUSE's netconfig and network script to properly update /etc/resolv.conf. [libvirt] [PATCH v2 0/3] virt-aa-helper: allow to add R/O files in restricted dirs

Hi, the purpose of these patches is to make it possible to put files in restricted_rw that are under a directory that is already in restricted. It was only possible to add the to overrides before so they ended up being rw. Sorry for the incomplete series this morning, hopefully this looks better. The tests pass here and I've added an additional patch checking the new file. We offer setting seclabel for the whole domain, but we never fixed the fact that the domain will not be able to even create its monitor socket because the directory is owned by the default preconfigured user and group. Moreover the selinux context can be off as well. So this patch series fixes few preliminary problems and then changes autogenerating so that it creates path per-domain. We can also use qemuxml2argvtest to test for the same thing and indeed that is patch 9/9 that I haven't sent. I will send it if anyone wants to have that been done as well, but I believe the qemuxml2argvtest can be left as it currently is because the patch itself has around 350KiB. It's also enough if you just tell me in the review that I should squash it in the previous commit (which I don't suppose anyone will do). Patch is quite different. First patchset implements migration thru managed migration scheme. This one goes thru p2p scheme. I belive this is a better approach. Vz migration is done via vz sdk and first patchset uses 5 phased migration only to get a token from destination on prepare phase which is kind a misuse. virt-sandbox-image.py is a python script that lets you download and run templates from supported sources using virt-sandbox. Component-based archictecture is accomplished through Source base class. Docker image support is added through DockerSource. I can't set link state for network=ethernet, in older versions all works fine. Hi, Not so long ago I've started encountering issues with syntax-check, for example: trailing_blank /bin/sh: grep: Argument list too long When I'm running it with SHELL='sh -x' I can see that it's indeed trying to run grep with really long list of files, e.g.: + grep -nE '\<error *\([^"]*"[^"]*[a-z]{3}' .ctags .dir-locals.el ... and many many other files in the list. I see this problem on FreeBSD, but not on Linux, I guess that's because ARG_MAX is much lower on FreeBSD: freebsd$ getconf ARG_MAX 262144 linux$ getconf ARG_MAX 2097152 It looks like it's not possible to change ARG_MAX value on FreeBSD. I am running kvm based virtual guest. The guest has two virtio-based ports. Now I am trying to unbind ports from their current drivers (by echo "0000:00:06.0" > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/virtio-pci/unbind) and getting kernel crash. Don't know how to move forward. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. [libvirt] [PATCH] util: Remove empty resource partition created by libvirt

The default resource partition is created in the domain start path if it is not existing. Even when libvirtd is stopped after shutting down all domains, the resource partition still exists. The patch adds code to removes the default resource partition in the cgroup removal path of the domain. If the default resource partition is found to have no child cgroup, the default resource partition will be removed. Moreover, the code does not remove the user provided resource partitions.
