[libvirt] [PATCH] selinux: Fix incorrect object label generation.

This is a fix for the object label generation. It uses a new flag for virSecuritySELinuxGenNewContext that specifies whether the context is for an object. If so the context role remains unchanged. Without this fix it is not possible to start domains with image file or block device backed storage when selinux is enabled. With qemu it is possible to override the geometry (cylinders, heads, sectors) of disks. This series adds a new XML tag for geometry and the related support in the qemu driver. We move the macro vshStrcasecmp from tools/virsh.c to tools/virsh.h after commit c2e494cc, so we should not check strcase* in the file tools/virsh.h. Some macros are not properly indented in the file tools/virsh.h and tools/virsh-domain.h. This is an ad-hoc fix for the file label generation. It uses the base context role to determine whether to use the libvirt process context role. If this is object_r we don't touch it. It might be better to add a new flag to virSecuritySELinuxGenNewContext that specifies the context type (process or file) in the future. Hi. All. I rewrote the patched. But I modified the feature for the situation @result pointer is NULL. Though before it does not forcely wait, I think it is not meanless because @result pointer is always NULL. And @timeout must be following VIR_DOMAIN_QEMU_AGENT_COMMAND_BLOCK(-2) : does not block and wait forever. VIR_DOMAIN_QEMU_AGENT_COMMAND_DEFAULT(-1) : use default time for waiting VIR_DOMAIN_QEMU_AGENT_COMMAND_NOWIAT(0) : does not wait and out soon positive value : wait for pointed seconds. This patch series supports the forward mode='hostdev'. The functionality of this mode is the same as interface type='hostdev' but with the added benefit of using interface pools. [libvirt] libvirtd crash when attach-disk to VM

Hi all, I got a depressed problem(libvirtd crash with SIGABRT or SIGSEGV sometimes) when attach a nbd disk to a VM by using cmd as follow: virsh attach-disk 228 --source /dev/nbd0 --target vdd --sourcetype block --driver qemu --subdriver raw or just using virsh attach-disk 228 /dev/nbd0 vdd. and this problem occurs everytime when I attach a nbd disk to VM. the device nbd0 is create by I have set up the QEMU 1.2 Testing wiki page and suggest August 16 as the Test Day: http://wiki.qemu.org/Planning/1.2/Testing Test Day is an event for QEMU contributors and users to try out the release candidate. QEMU has a large feature matrix that is hard to test by a single entity. On Test Day everyone is encouraged to test their favorite features, host OSes, and guest OSes to make sure that the release candidate is stable. Please add yourself to the http://wiki.qemu.org/Planning/1.2/Testing wiki page! The Test Day is August 16 2012, one day after the planned -rc0 release. On the day, use #qemu IRC on irc.oftc.net to chat about bugs and update the wiki page with your pass/fail results. There are usually -rc1, -rc2, ... follow-up release candidates. 'make distcheck' fails because the generated ESX and HyperV files are (intentionally) marked read-only, but since the stamp file was missing, make assumes they need to be rebuilt.
