[libvirt] [PATCH V5] support offline migration

original migration did not aware of offline case, so, add code to support offline migration quietly (did not disturb original migration) by pass VIR_MIGRATE_OFFLINE flag to migration APIs, and migration process will not puzzeled by domain offline and exit unexpectly. these changes did not take care of disk images the domain required, for disk images could be transfered by other APIs as suggested. so, the migration result is just make domain definition alive at target side. [libvirt] [PATCH] esx: Fix and improve esxListAllDomains function

Avoid requesting information such as identity or power state when it is not necessary. Lookup virtual machine list with the required fields (configStatus, name, and config.uuid) to make esxVI_GetVirtualMachineIdentity work. No need to call esxVI_GetNumberOfSnapshotTrees. rootSnapshotTreeList can be tested for emptiness by checking it for NULL. esxVI_LookupRootSnapshotTreeList already does the error reporting, don't overwrite it. Check if autostart is enabled at all before looking up the individual autostart setting of a virtual machine. Reorder VIR_EXPAND_N(doms, ndoms, 1) to avoid leaking the result of the call to virGetDomain if VIR_EXPAND_N fails. If virGetDomain fails it already reports an error, don't overwrite it with an OOM error. All items in doms up to the count-th one are valid, no need to double check before freeing them. Hi, i'm trying to pass through SCSI commands from a guest to a host. Both guest and host are RHEL 6.3. The relevant section in my XML is: <devices> <disk type='block' device='lun'> <driver name='qemu' type='raw' cache='none'/> <source dev='/dev/sdb'/> <target dev='sdb' bus='scsi'/> <address type='drive' controller='0' bus='0' target='1' unit='0'/> </disk> <controller type='scsi' index='0' model='virtio-scsi'> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x05' function='0x0'/> </controller> ... </devices> Commands that are whitelisted by the host kernel come through (e.g. "sg_inq"), but other commands don't (e.g. "sg_persist"). I need sg_persist so i tried making qemu-kvm setuid root. This works. Is there a better way to allow arbitrary SCSI commands, perferably on a per-VM basis, rather than making qemu setuid root? On RHEL 6.2, gcc 4.4.6 complains: cc1: warning: command line option "-Wenum-compare" is valid for C++/ObjC++ but not for C which in turn breaks a -Werror build. Meanwhile, in Fedora 17, gcc 4.7.0, -Wenum-compare has been enhanced to also work on C, but at the same time, it is documented that -Wall now implicitly includes -Wenum-compare.
