[libvirt] [PATCH] log: actually do substring matches with fnmatch
by Daniel P. Berrangé
Historically we matched log filters with strstr(), and when switching to
fnmatch in cbb0fd3cfdc287f6f4653ef1f04a7cfb2ea51b27, it was stated that
we would continue to match substrings, with "foo" being equivalent to
"*foo*". Unfortuntely I forget to provide the code to actually make that
happen. This fixes it to prepend and append "*" if not already present in
the user's pattern.

[libvirt] [perl PATCH] Switch over to using Module::Build
by Daniel P. Berrangé
The Module::Build system is nicer than ExtUtils::MakeMaker as it allows
for better cross-platform portability by only relying on Perl, rather
than both Perl and system 'make' binary.

[libvirt] [jenkins-ci PATCH] projects: Temporarily skip expensive tests on FreeBSD
by Andrea Bolognani
The gnulib issue has been reported upstream, but solving it
is taking a bit and all jobs downstream of libvirt-master-check
are blocked in the meantime, which is less than ideal. Put a
temporary workaround in place.

[libvirt] [PATCH 0/8] GnuTLS fixes and requirements
by Ján Tomko
The first two patches fix the build and tests without GnuTLS.
The third requires GnuTLS 3.2.0 or newer.
That means we don't have to worry about gnutls_hash_fast not
being present (introduced in GnuTLS 2.10.0).
The rest of the patches cleans up the code that deals with older
GnuTLS.
Ján Tomko (8):
virCryptoHashBuf: return the length of the hash in bytes
Skip vircryptotest and virfilecachetest without gnutls
Require GnuTLS >= 3.2.0
Deprecate GNUTLS_GCRYPT
Remove explicit check for gnutls_rnd
Remove explicit check for gnutls_cipher_encrypt
Fix indentation in virCryptoHaveCipher
Remove check for gnutls/crypto.h

[libvirt] [PATCH] Add a MAINTAINERS file to suggest reviewers for patches
by Daniel P. Berrangé
Currently all patches are simply sent to the main libvirt development
mailing list. Sometimes individual developers are also CC'd but this is
typically the exception.
Libvirt does not follow a subsystem maintainer model, so there is no
notion of owners for the different areas of code, but there certainly
are people with high levels of expertize in specific areas.
This patch thus proposes pulling in QEMU's get_maintainer.pl script and
creating MAINTAINERS file to list who the experts are for specific
areas. Combined with git-pubish, this will help ensure that patches are
brought to the attention of people with direct expertize.
For example:
$ git show b04629b62934caa8786e73c3db985672422fc662 | \
./build-aux/get_maintainer.pl
Jim Fehlig <jfehlig(a)suse.com> (maintainer:libxl)
libvir-list(a)redhat.com (open list:All patches)
Or
$ git show e7cb9c4e230c3c77e35e72334c261b5b0a2211c6 | \
./build-aux/get_maintainer.pl
Jiri Denemar <jdenemar(a)redhat.com> (maintainer:CPU modelling)

+Libvirt Maintainers
+===================
+
+The intention of this file is NOT to establish who owns what portions of the
+code base, but to provide a set of names that developers can consult when they
+have a question about a particular subset and also to provide a set of names
+to be CC'd when submitting a patch to obtain appropriate review.
+
+In general, if you have a question about inclusion of a patch, you should
+consult libvir-list(a)redhat.com and not any specific individual privately.
+
+Descriptions of section entries:
+
+ M: Mail patches to: FullName <address@domain>
+ S: Status, one of the following:
+ Supported: Someone is actually paid to look after this.
+ Maintained: Someone actually looks after it.
+ Odd Fixes: It has a maintainer but they don't have time to do
+ much other than throw the odd patch in. See below.
+ Orphan: No current maintainer [but maybe you could take the
+ role as you write your new code].
+ Obsolete: Old code. Something tagged obsolete generally means
+ it has been replaced by a better system and you
+ should be using that.
+ F: Files and directories with wildcard patterns.
+ A trailing slash includes all files and subdirectory files.
+ F: drivers/net/ all files in and below drivers/net
+ F: drivers/net/* all files in drivers/net, but not below
+ F: */net/* all files in "any top level directory"/net
+ One pattern per line. Multiple F: lines acceptable.
+ X: Files and directories that are NOT maintained, same rules as F:
+ Files exclusions are tested before file matches.
+ Can be useful for excluding a specific subdirectory, for instance:
+ F: net/
+ X: net/ipv6/
+ matches all files in and below net excluding net/ipv6/
+ K: Keyword perl extended regex pattern to match content in a
+ patch or file. For instance:
+ K: of_get_profile
+ matches patches or files that contain "of_get_profile"
+ K: \b(printk|pr_(info|err))\b
+ matches patches or files that contain one or more of the words
+ printk, pr_info or pr_err
+ One regex pattern per line. Multiple K: lines acceptable.

+
+Notes:
+ Using "-f directory" may give unexpected results:
+ Used with "--git", git signators for _all_ files in and below
+ directory are examined as git recurses directories.
+ Any specified X: (exclude) pattern matches are _not_ ignored.
+ Used with "--nogit", directory is used as a pattern match,
+ no individual file within the directory or subdirectory
+ is matched.
+ Used with "--git-blame", does not iterate all files in directory
+ Using "--git-blame" is slow and may add old committers and authors
+ that are no longer active maintainers to the output.
+ Using "--roles" or "--rolestats" with git send-email --cc-cmd or any
+ other automated tools that expect only ["name"] <email address>
+ may not work because of additional output after <email address>.
+ Using "--rolestats" and "--git-blame" shows the #/total=% commits,
+ not the percentage of the entire file authored. # of commits is
+ not a good measure of amount of code authored. 1 major commit may
+ contain a thousand lines, 5 trivial commits may modify a single line.
+ If git is not installed, but mercurial (hg) is installed and an .hg
+ repository exists, the following options apply to mercurial:
+ --git,
+ --git-min-signatures, --git-max-maintainers, --git-min-percent, and
+ --git-blame
+ Use --hg-since not --git-since to control date selection
+ File ".get_maintainer.conf", if it exists in the libvirt source root
+ directory, can change whatever get_maintainer defaults are desired.
+ Entries in this file can be any command line argument.
+ This file is prepended to any additional command line arguments.
+ Multiple lines and # comments are allowed.
