Libvirt on x86 parses 'dmidecode' to gather characteristics of host
system. On PowerPC, this is now implemented by reading /proc/cpuinfo

Okay, I pushed this but let fix the issue raised in 2/2 as this
may impact the output of this patch too, and we should not change
it after the release,
