You could possibly do that with
'blockdev-snapshot-internal-sync', but
libvirt doesn't support that yet. Internal snapshots are always with
memory state if the VM is online at the time the snapshot is taken.
Thanks! May be this is question on wrong list, but do you know - does
it possible to run qemu with -loadvm xxx param with disk only
snapshot? Does it try to boot kernel like normal boot?
