Yep. I also have this in mine, which helps with some UTF characters in people's
names:
[format]
headers = "MIME-Version: 1.0\nContent-Type: text/plain;
charset=utf-8\nContent-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit\n"
Well, that helps with "git format-patch" anyway. :)
