[libvirt] [PATCH 0/4] auto-assign controller indexes

The purpose of this series is just to eliminate the need to "count indexes" when adding controllers. Patch 4/4 is the meat of this series. 2/4 and 3/4 are code movement to enable 4/4, and 1/4 is a small code simplification that I noticed while testing the rest.
