Incidently, patch #1 truthfully makes the build fail because
of missing documentation. Go figure :)
I'll submit a single patch with a fix shortly.
I reworked the patches and have integrated the prerequisite
documentation fixes into the series.
Watch out for v3 coming up in a moment.
