Missing a change to src/conf/domain_conf.c: virDomainDiskSourceParse
must change:
if ((src->protocol =
virStorageNetProtocolTypeFromString(protocol)) < 0){
to use <= 0, so that XML doesn't start accepting "none" as a valid
protocol type.
