Yes, up to version 0.10. there's not.

Maybe should be a good idea to add a support of defining "<virtualport
type='openvswitch'>" using
the API, shouldn't it ?
If you mean adding support for specification of virtualport and its
attributes to the virt-install commandline, then yes. As always, patches
are welcome :-)
