Automatic devices with no command line argument have proven to be a
nightmare for libvirt as well. Although the just-released libvirt 1.1.1
now supports the <on_crash> element for controlling the command line
parameters of qemu related to how qemu will behave when the pvpanic
device is triggered, I would also welcome having the ability to control
whether the guest even has a pvpanic device exposed, just as we can
control whether a guest has a memballoon device exposed.

[libvirt] Intel nested virt with libvirt

I'm try to create L1 and L2 virt machines, but when I connect via libvirt
to L2 virt-manager says that L2 does not contain KVM.
Where I can find complete instructions and does it possible with Intel CPU?

[libvirt] [PATCH] Fix test case qemuagenttest compilation.

When compiling qemuagenttest, a link error occurs like:
./.libs/libqemumonitortestutils.a(qemumonitortestutils.o): In function `qemuMonitorTestFree':
libvirt/tests/qemumonitortestutils.c:346: undefined reference to `qemuMonitorClose'
./.libs/libqemumonitortestutils.a(qemumonitortestutils.o): In function `qemuMonitorTestNew':
libvirt/tests/qemumonitortestutils.c:870: undefined reference to `qemuMonitorOpen'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
And I checked this error, it caused by the position of
libqemumonitortestutils.a in gcc arguments.
If libqemumonitortestutils.a before libvirt_driver_qemu_impl.a
and libvirt_driver_network_impl.a, the compilation passed.
Otherwise, failed.
I think this should be a gcc's bug, but nevermind,
just fix it in libvirt.

[libvirt] [PATCH 0/2] Coverity/Valgrind issues

One new Coverity defect was discovered from existing code in this mornings
run. Also recent changes seem to have adjusted tests and provoked valgrind
to find/display potential leaks. That path had already been vetted previously
in a shorter stack trace - just adjust the trace to allow inclusion of more
traces.

[libvirt] Libvirt not getting connected to ESX server

Hi,
I was trying to connect to ESX server using libvirt's virsh console but I
am getting the following error:

[libvirt] [PATCH 00/20] tests: add qemu agent test

As promised earlier I'm sending a unit test for guest agent interaction.
This series contains a few refactors and additions of monitor test utils
and then add tests for all agent interaction functions. The refactors
done in this series will allow to do a more thorough testing on the json
monitor too.
The small drawback of this test suite is a 6 second run time introduced
to test timeout of a guest agent command. The test may be removed in
case it's too much.
