It looks like this function isn't supported for Containers. There's a
lot of Containers related changes going on in libvirt now, so it might
be added soon.

This is missing a valid tty value. This should be:
<console tty='/dev/ptmx'/>
Do you test it with valid tty value? Acutally I used a valid tty value
and
tested yesterday, it still failed for me, the domain can't be started
yet.
