.#2 Fix up style issues in device_parsing.c
Lots of whitespace issues were corrected as well. Any lines that look
untouched are trailing whitespace fixes.
Changed non-error "err" labels to "out".
Lots of other stuff.
Changes:
- Caught all 'if (!...' cases needing cleanup
