[libvirt-users] Query regarding Xen_ComputerSystem

Hi, Libvirt provides classes such as Xen_ComputerSystem, Xen_Processor etc., in order to build applications using libvirt-api which can interact with the Xen Hypervisor. I would like to know what are the corresponding classes for the KVM hypervisor, so that I can use libvirt-cim to communicate with the hypervisor. Would it be Kvm_ComputerSystem or Qemu_Computersystem? Any help in this regard would be of great help. Thanking you. Regards Ananth

Hum, you're apparently trying to use libvirt CIM bindings, but there is a specific list for this: libvirt-cim@redhat.com See https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/libvirt-cim/ for subscriptions, thanks, Daniel -- Daniel Veillard | libxml Gnome XML XSLT toolkit http://xmlsoft.org/ daniel@veillard.com | Rpmfind RPM search engine http://rpmfind.net/ http://veillard.com/ | virtualization library http://libvirt.org/

Hi, Thanks for the immediate response. Where can I look for the classes on the host? Are they visible directly without access through SOAP?
