I have this error using this procedure to create a niked filesystem running the line :
echo -e "unit: sectors\n\n/dev/sda1 : start=63, size=$sda1size, Id=7" | sfdisk --force /dev/loop0

Checking that no-one is using this disk right now ... OK

Disk /dev/loop0: 31.5 KiB, 32256 bytes, 63 sectors
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes

>>> Created a new DOS disklabel with disk identifier 0x6888d234.
Start sector 63 out of range.
Failed to add partition: Numerical result out of range
Leaving.

Hello

How to convert a bootable linux partition to virtual disk ?
I tried :

|dd if=/dev/sda1 of=/mnt/mydisk3/sda1.raw|

|||qemu-img convert -f raw -O qcow2 sda1.raw sda1.qcow2|

|but the disk ||sda1.qcow2|is not bootable

The second partition contains data and is very large, so I want to check
the process with the system partition
