We are trying to find a solution for the following issue:

So my idea was to try to get system running with one keyboard. Perhaps
this would fix shutdown problem. Maybe there's a know solution for this?

No, there's no way to remove the PS2 keyboard or mouse, they as built-in
to the basic "pc" machine type.
