I am trying to get it working using libssh2 callback, but i get the error: "SSH transport error: no suitable method to retrieve authentication credentials" before anything happens. I have the same error running "virsh -c qemu+libssh2://username@host/system list" command.
There's already a bug report open, see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1047861 I'd recommend you use a newer version of libvirt-java, though. Version 0.5.1 was released in Sep 2013.
