I have a directory on the host that I would like to be visible in the

<filesystem type='mount' accessmode='passthrough'>

<target dir='/mnt/SASInstaller'/>
<address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00'
slot='0x08' function='0x0'/>

I created the /mnt/SASInstaller manually in the VM.
Nothing shows up. What am I missing? Do I need to run something in the VM (running
Linux) to make it work?
You need to mount it:
mount -t 9p /mnt/SASInstaller /mnt/SASInstaller
The target 'dir' is not really a directory, it's just a mount tag.
