[libvirt] Entering freeze for libvirt-4.2.0

As planned I just tagged the RC1 in git and pushed the signed tarball and rpms at the usual place: ftp://libvirt.org/libvirt/ This seems fine with my minimal testing, and CI at https://ci.centos.org/view/libvirt/ looks pretty good (except libvirt-master-build, weird ...) so this should not be a problem but please give it some testing especially on other arches and platforms. If everything goes well, I will push rc2 on Thursday for a final release over the w.e., but please give it a try first ! thanks, Daniel -- Daniel Veillard | Red Hat Developers Tools http://developer.redhat.com/ veillard@redhat.com | libxml Gnome XML XSLT toolkit http://xmlsoft.org/ http://veillard.com/ | virtualization library http://libvirt.org/

There are more errors now, but all of them seem to be related to communications issues between the Jenkins server and the build workers. Hopefully we'll manage to restore full green status over the next few days. -- Andrea Bolognani / Red Hat / Virtualization

As planned I tagged it on git and pushed signed tarball and rpms to the usual place at: ftp://libvirt.org/libvirt/ this is virtually identical to rc1, the only change between two versions is a comment edit pushed by Dan ! Still please give it a try, especially for other platforms and OSes, so that when time of release come (this week-end) we have confidence on those aspects of the release, thanks in advance, Daniel -- Daniel Veillard | Red Hat Developers Tools http://developer.redhat.com/ veillard@redhat.com | libxml Gnome XML XSLT toolkit http://xmlsoft.org/ http://veillard.com/ | virtualization library http://libvirt.org/
