Have you tested this patch? Does it work? For me it only partially solved the problem - I still can't get FreeBSD to install reliably.

Now that is interesting. Because I could only reproduce this on 32 bit FreeBSD full-virt, it wasn't really top priority to fix this. However if it affects Windows, then that is a different matter. No plans at this time - it never fully resolved the problems we saw with the FreeBSD guests. BTW there is a fedora-xen mailing list for Fedora related Xen question. If you have any other reproducable scanarios in which this problem occurrs please do file a BZ ticket to report them, because we'd want to track whether they affect other Xen versions too in particular RHEL-5.
