It might be an idea to configure your builder to set VIR_TEST_DEBUG=1 so that the logs capture more info when things go wrong in the tests. Great idea. I'm doing this during the debian builds but forgot to add it to the jenkins builds so far. That's what came up: 290) QEMU XML-2-ARGV hostdev-scsi-lsi ... libvirt: error : internal error Failed to open /sys/bus/scsi/devices/0:0:0:0/scsi_generic FAILED 291) QEMU XML-2-ARGV hostdev-scsi-virtio-scsi ... libvirt: error : internal error Failed to open /sys/bus/scsi/devices/0:0:0:0/scsi_generic FAILED 292) QEMU XML-2-ARGV hostdev-scsi-readonly ... libvirt: error : internal error Failed to open /sys/bus/scsi/devices/0:0:0:0/scsi_generic FAILED 293) QEMU XML-2-ARGV hostdev-scsi-virtio-scsi ... libvirt: error : internal error Failed to open /sys/bus/scsi/devices/0:0:0:0/scsi_generic FAILED FAIL: qemuxml2argvtest (http://honk.sigxcpu.org:8001/job/libvirt-check/1004/console) Cheers, -- Guido

Oh dear, something in the QEMU command line generator is now accessing files in sysfs. Not good. I reset to the commit "rng: Interleave hostdev elements", and it worked fine on my local box, Guido, can you provide more info with "VIR_TEST_DEBUG=1"? Btw, it will be nice to configure the buildbot with VIR_TEST_DEBUG on libvirt-check project. Osier
