Plans for 11.6.0 release (freeze on 2025-07-28)

We are getting close to 11.6.0 release of libvirt. To aim for the release on Friday 01 Aug I suggest entering the freeze on Monday 28 Jul and tagging RC2 on Wednesday 30 Jul. I hope this works for everyone. Jirka

New subject: libvirt-11.6.0 release candidate 2
I have just tagged v11.6.0-rc2 in the repository and pushed signed tarballs to https://download.libvirt.org/ Please give the release candidate some testing and in case you find a serious issue which should have a fix in the upcoming release, feel free to reply to this thread to make sure the issue is more visible. If you have not done so yet, please update NEWS.rst to document any significant change you made since the last release. Jirka
