Plans for 12.1.0 release (freeze on 2026-02-24)
We are getting close to 12.1.0 release of libvirt. To aim for the release on Monday 02 Mar I suggest entering the freeze on Tuesday 24 Feb and tagging RC2 on Thursday 26 Feb. I hope this works for everyone. Jirka

Jirka, in case you were planning to tag RC1 tomorrow morning, I would ask you to please delay that to later in the day. There's a series that I've been working on and I'm very keen on seeing included in the 12.1.0 release; most patches are fully ACKed already, with the remaining ones not having received significant changes since the previous respin. I'm quite confident that we can get it merged by the early afternoon. I'll let you know as soon as it's done. Thank you in advance. -- Andrea Bolognani / Red Hat / Virtualization

The series has been pushed but unfortunately it introduced a build failure on FreeBSD. I'll take care of it shortly. -- Andrea Bolognani / Red Hat / Virtualization

6085f809ad7f fixes the issue. We can move ahead with RC1 as far as I'm concerned. Thank you for your patience :) -- Andrea Bolognani / Red Hat / Virtualization
