That's not correct: feedrapp is perfectly happy with parsing feeds served over HTTPS, as I just verified by replacing the above with https://planet.gnome.org/atom.xml; however, it seems that Planet Virt Tools itself is down at the moment, and that's why you're getting back an error. So please do *not* switch to HTTP.
Dan, are you doing maintainance on Planet Virt Tools? If not, can you please look into its current status?
