Yes they have. However, the functionality is still missing from qemu. The two communities have agreed upon the interface and semantics, but work continues on the qemu implementation. Let me know if you would like a link to some qemu patches that support this functionality for qed images. Sure, If you share it with me, at the same time learning your libvirt API, i can also sample this feature.:) anyway, thanks, Adam.
