Hmm, no I forgot to add one. Technically the test made is only whether
the Psuedo-TTY is writable, but in practice it is only writable if you
are root. Not all domains will have a serial console - you can test
for this by looking at the XML for a domain - whether it has an element:
<console tty='/dev/pts/3'/>
