Hi Jason,
As far as I know, the console is accessed using the VNC or SPICE protocol,
in other words, SPICE should be optional, if you use VNC protocal, SPICE
isn't necessary. however, I'm not a virt-viewer developers, maybe,
Daniel P.Berrange or other developers can confirm this.
