changes from v4 [1]:
- previous patch 3 was removed. The validation it was
implementating proved to be too restrict, while
providing no tangible benefits for the trouble of
having existing domains failing to launch. This
makes this series all about the new address type
implementation and its benefits. More info about the
rationale can be found at [1].
- documentation was changed to reflect this new
tone
