There were a few style fixes introduced with this commit. With 'style
fixes', I mean the docstring enforced/used by scripts/apibuild.py
As most of the metadata was generated by a script, it did not seem
useful to split the style fixes with those generated by the script.
In the end, they are all typedef fixes that are related to appending
*Since* metadata.
