The Xen driver is already using a multitude of "subdrivers" (query xenstore, query the hypervisor, query xend, read directly from /etc/xen or /var/lib/xend/domains).
This is one of the primary reasons why we want the new driver to be completely separate. We want a clean break with the past so we can have a simple & easy to maintain standalone driver for xenlight.
